As the leader in pain management in the Northern California region, Summit Pain Alliance in happy to bring to our patients the development of our Clinical Research Center. Partnering with industry leaders to provide the newest cutting edge technologies and advancements in pain relief, both acute and chronic, our new research center allows us to impact pain globally, while offering new pain management therapies to our patients closer to home. Our pain doctors use cutting edge technologies along with new treatments and practices to better serve our patients. We can provide answers and effective methods that you rarely see in pain MD.

OUR CLINICAL STUDIES

Here at Summit Pain Alliance, we are constantly working to make our solutions more effective for our patients. We believe that cutting edge treatment will help our patients the quickest, and the most efficiently. Our pain doctors and partners have come to the conclusion that this goal cannot be attained without the use of our Clinical Research Center. Our patients can expect new, state of the art pain management treatments to better handle chronic or acute pain. Our trials will be held in many different ways, and participants are welcome.

THE ENSO PAIN STUDY

March 23, 2018 — Enso is revealing a wearable that promises to eliminate pain—both physical and metaphorical—for people who respond to TENS, a technology that uses electrical stimulation to stop pain at its source.


A Prospective, Non-Randomized, Open-Label, Multicenter Study Designed to Evaluate the Long-Term Safety of the Prometra Programmable Pump System.

Device: Prometra II Pump for Intrathecal Drug Delivery system

Sponsor: Flowonix

Status: Data collection only, not enrolling new patients


TARGET: A Post-Approval Study to Evaluate Targeted SCS (DRG) Stimulation for the management of Moderate to Severe Chronic, Intractable, Pain of the Lower Limbs due to CRPS types I and II

Device: Axium Neurostimulator System, Spinal Cord Stimulator, the only FDA-approved system specifically designed to stimulate the dorsal root ganglion (DRG).

Evoke: A prospective, multicenter, randomized double-blind study examining the safety and efficacy of the Spinal Cord Stimulator (SCS) System with feedback to treat patients with chronic pain of the trunk and/or limbs.
